We are safely delivered to the Mennonite Seminary where we will be staying tonight in Guatemala City.  We have finished our night's devotions, so now I have a moment to give a brief introduction to our mission and what we think will be happening so long as our Lord wills it.  :)

Last time we were in La Fragua we had an opportunity to meet the principal at the local public elementary school.  This turned out to be an exciting event as she is a Christian, and having had a positive relationship with missionaries in the past, invited us to work in the school.  This means we have the opportunity to share the Gospel with 240 young people and perhaps connect them to the La Fragua church!

To continue to bolster this relationship we have brought what school supplies we could reasonably carry on the plane, and we will reconnect with the principal to further plan programing in the school on our next trip.

We are also praying that God would continue to guide us in building relationships with other community leaders as He sees fit.

In addition to this, we will be building a house.  I will wait to tell you about the family when we have had a chance to meet them.

Sheri, Connie and Dawn will be leading a VBS for the children of the neighborhood as well.

I cannot wait to see what God will do this week.  He is creative and resourceful beyond anything I can ever anticipate, so instead we will wait on Him.

Pray for us as we travel tomorrow and reconnect with old friends.  Pray for those who we can encourage in their faith and witness.  Pray for those in the neighborhood who do not yet know the Savior who loves them.  Pray that we will be faithful witnesses and that we would make the most of every opportunity.

Bless you all for your prayers.

Good night,
Pastor Bob
